Man - I didn't even know this was going on yesterday, because I was using my Level 9 Ranger in Ascalon - no expensive items there. If I was using my other Char I might have gotten some of these items, but luckily this did not affect me at all I stopped playing pretty much right where the rollback took place.

The bottom line is that Anet did the right thing overall. The game economy is balanced at the moment, if I was in their shoes, thats how I'd want to keep it. Sure, we all lost an hour of effort on Guild Wars, regardless of what we were doing at the time, but it was for the greater good of the PvE game.

Sorry for those that got burned. Happy to see things restored to "normal"
Oh, yes ...... I had a s**t load of shards. I dreamt for a while

I went to GW.com and actually read their solution for yesterdays screw up. It was actually a good move to fix that problem and actually saving the games economy. Although, quickmonty is right....imagine all those people who got a Bulwark in TPK...all those people who clicked and clicked and clicked and clicked their mouse to buy cheap materials and runes.

Dude, you just pointed out that it IS all about skill. Because FoW armor has NO IMPACT WHATSOEVER on your skill or your ability to play the game. NONE. Hence it is ONLY there for people who WANT to grind. If you're just about skill, all you need is droks armor and anyone who plays the game through to droks will be able to afford it.
Think about it.

Lawl, you guys blame A.net so badly. Really is sad, but would anyone care what your posts say or just flame along. Yes A.net crapped up the server and many things were lost, fame earned, a good item. What can we do? Work that fame again, is fame and rank everyone thinks about in HOH. It's all about the PVP experince, meeting people, getting to play with experinced people, I mean enjoy the tactics not the things lost.

i'm happy about the rollback coz i had only managed to buy 50 shards b4 the stock ran out. i didn't even get the chance to buy any runes and i'm happy that every1 who was stacked up on everything is just like me now. haha!
on the other hand, i'm wodering if they'll do another price reset. i know it was once done and it was ok coz ppl were new to the game and less gold was around. that meant that even 250g was a pretty high price for most players.
but now, most pve ppl have at least 200k and a price reset would do the exact same thing that happened yesterday. everything will run out of stock in less than 20 minutes. i'm really curious how Anet figure this out. i tend to think that they won't bother with a price reset again.
and anyways, the reset only benefits already rich ppl. the poor or new guy has no chance to get anything. if it does happen again i only hope i'll be there sooner to fill my storage with goodies ;p

/agreed to umpteenth power! Couldn't have said it better myself fiery. It is just a game. The reason I'm playing this instead of my PS2 is because I get to MEET AND INTERACT with people! Not because I can become famous or whatever else. It's not that big of a deal.

LOL. I saved a spot in storage for my 'rollback 06' tshirt, but nothing appeared. I ordered the black and orange one too just to match my pumpkin head...

My quick 2 cents. Of course they had to do a roll back. What I think is funny is all of those saying if they roll back, then bye-bye GW. Or even better all the people that found a 15^50 crystalline sword. Wouldn't you know the only time those dropped en masse, is the only time A-Net has to reset the game.
